Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum

Visit us at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum to discover the history of the communities of Carleton Place and Beckwith Township. The museum houses a large collection of local artifacts, photographs and archival material. In addition to permanent exhibits, there is an annual themed exhibit, opening in Mid May.

The museum has many services available to the public. Group tours are welcome by appointment. School visits can be tailored to the ages and interests of students. We provide outreach programming on various topics to local organizations and at community events.

The museum is wheelchair accessible.

Also on site is the Victoria School Gardens, a project of the Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society. Take time to enjoy this lovely oasis.

Located behind the museum building is the Community Labyrinth. All are welcome to "Walk the Path".

The Museum is open daily from May 18th to Labour Day, 2014. Open by appointment during the remainder of the year.

Admission is by donation. We depend on the generous donations of our visitors to maintain the museum. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
